Tea-turtle.com is a UK based company and complies with UK consumer law including the Distance Selling Regulations. This means that shopping with Teaturtle is safe. You won’t get ripped off, you’ll get your teas/accessories and we’ll sort out any problems you have. By visiting our website you accept and agree to the content of these Terms and Conditions. Our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Our online ordering system uses a cookie to record a unique reference on your computing device so that we can keep track of your order as you use the system. This cookie, that’s saved to your system, is only valid for a single visit and each new visit will result in a new cookie overwriting any previous records that were generated on previous visits to our site.

This information is copyright of Teaturtle and may not be used by any other party without express permission of Teaturtle. teaturtle website is provided for use only for viewing by an end user. Taking of any content or prices by automated processes, such as spidering, will be deemed as a breach of copyright and is expressly forbidden except where specifically agreed with Teaturtle.

Accuracy of information
We put a lot of time and effort into describing and photographing the products we sell using manufacturer’s websites, catalogues, our own photography studio and often our own descriptions of the products.

Although we aim that every picture and description is 100% accurate, mistakes do occur so let us know if you see or read something that isn’t correct. If you’ve purchased something based on a picture or description on the website which turns out to be incorrect, we’ll happily replace or refund the product.

Changes
If we decide to change our Terms and Conditions, we’ll post the changes on this page so that you’re always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.

Site usage
Teaturtle disclaims damages of any kind, compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties implied or otherwise relating to use of this site.

Ordering
When placing an order you agree that all the information given is accurate and complete. You will receive an acknowledgement email confirming receipt of your order and an Order ID: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. 

By placing an order, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected. We may or may not accept your offer at our discretion. If we cannot accept your order we will contact you by email and shall refund any amount already paid to us. We will always make every effort to supply you with the products listed in your order confirmation.

Pricing liability
All prices listed on Tea-turtle.com are correct at the time of entering. Your credit card or debit card will be charged at the point of purchase unless your items are pre-order items in which case we will not charge your credit or debit card until the items are back in stock and ready to be dispatched.

If a genuine error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price. In the event that you order an item and the price published on Teaturtler.com is incorrect for any reason, we will email you to inform you that we have not accepted your order, and shall refund any amount already paid to us.

Delivery
Delivery takes between 2nd and 4th of each month or 16th and 18th depending on which half of the month you order.  Delivery is via 2nd class Royal Mail. However, if the parcel is over a certain weight or value it will require a signature on delivery.  We cannot guarantee delivery in these time frames unless we have the full and correct delivery address (including company name if applicable).

Sometimes, for example during exceptionally busy periods, there is a chance your order may be slightly delayed. If this does occur, we shall inform you as soon as possible. Please note that some addresses like the Channel Islands and Scottish Highlands and Ireland may take a little longer. All deliveries are subject to the couriers Terms and Conditions.

International Shipping
We are able to offer a limited service to send gifts within Europe.

Upon check out please select the country that the product is to be sent and then proceed as normal.

Returns
Teaturtle’s aim is to provide a Returns service that is totally hassle-free for you. If you’re not completely satisfied with an item you may return it within 4 weeks of purchase, and as long as the item isn’t opened we’re happy to receive it back for a refund.

The goods must be in their original condition and include all parts, accessories and packaging. To speed up your return, the goods should be accompanied with the packing slip and / or order reference . The goods are your responsibility until they reach our Warehouse –

NOTE: Please ensure you package your return to prevent any damage to the items. Please do not tape up or attach labels direct to the retail packaging, please wrap the item first. Please ensure you mark your parcel, ‘RETURNED GOODS’.

It may take up to 7 working days for us to receive your return, depending on which postal service you use. However, once we receive your goods, we will inspect and process them within 24hrs. Refunds will automatically be issued to the same payment method used to purchase the goods. As soon as your return has been processed by us we will email you to let you know. In the unlikely event that you don’t receive this email within 10 days of posting your parcel to us, please get in touch with us.

If your purchase isn’t everything you expected it to be and you wish to exchange an item the simplest and quickest thing to do is place a brand new order for your new item and return the old one to us for a full refund.

Return shipping costs are non-refundable.  If the item is being returned as a result of our error, (damaged, defective, wrong item sent etc), we will refund Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs.

Has my return been processed?
As soon as we action your request for an exchange or refund we’ll send an email to the address held against your account to let you know that your return has been dealt with.

Website Backups

This website is backed up on a regular basis for security and disaster recovery purposes. The backups are stored securely with Dropbox. Dropbox may store these backups outside of the European Union in line with its undertakings through the EU-US Privacy Shield Program. Website backups will be stored for a maximum of 30 days before being deleted.
